International Women’s Day Celebration in Rajasthan
On International Women’s Day, Ladli Foundation organized a landmark event across four districts of Rajasthan—Dausa, Rajsamand, Jaipur, and Nagaur—to amplify the M-RITE efforts aimed at boosting vaccination numbers, fostering vital partnerships, and advancing women’s empowerment in rural India. This special day was dedicated not only to raising awareness about COVID-19 vaccination and Routine Immunization but also to celebrating the strength and resilience of women, highlighting their essential role in community health and empowerment.
EVENTS HIGHLIGHTS
- Awareness Rally : A vibrant rally was held to advocate for COVID-19 vaccination and Routine Immunization, engaging community members in a unified health awareness and women empowerment drive. 
- Felicitation of Frontline Health Workers : Dedicated health workers, particularly women, were celebrated for their service in challenging areas, reinforcing the importance of empowered women in driving community health and transformation. 
- Promotion of Women’s Empowerment : The event spotlighted women as health advocates and community leaders, inspiring more women to take active roles in public health and community welfare, especially in rural areas. 
- Engagement of Community Leaders : Collaboration among district officials, health workers, and community youth fostered local solutions to health and social challenges, empowering communities through unity and resilience. 
- Presence of District Collectors and Dignitaries : Each district’s Collector and senior officials attended as dignitaries, demonstrating strong government support for health, vaccination, and the empowerment of women across all sectors. 
- Empowering Women and Adolescents : Emphasis was placed on engaging community women and adolescents, motivating them to take up leadership roles within their communities to advocate for health and gender equality. 
- Strengthening Partnerships for Sustainable Impact : The event served as a platform to create and leverage partnerships among government officials, health organizations, and community leaders, promoting sustainable health initiatives and the long-term empowerment of women. 
The WaSHETHON marked a significant milestone in promoting the vital importance of water, sanitation, and hygiene in building resilient communities, leaving a lasting impact on participants
