Ladli Foundation operates under a values-based and Impact-oriented governance framework designed to ensure transparency, independence, and accountability.
The organization is owned and governed by committed individuals with demonstrated grassroots experience, ensuring leadership remains closely connected to the communities served. The Board of Trustees is composed of individuals who have actively volunteered or worked with Ladli Foundation prior to assuming governance roles. This requirement ensures institutional knowledge, mission alignment, and informed decision-making based on direct programmatic engagement. Appointment to the Board is not determined by financial contributions or donor status, thereby safeguarding organizational independence and preventing conflicts of interest.
Ladli Foundation is operationally led and supported by experienced development sector professionals with expertise across public health, women’s rights, child protection, mental health, education, humanitarian response, governance, and program management. This combination of grassroots leadership and technical expertise enables the organization to design, implement, and monitor evidence-based interventions in line with international standards. The governance structure reflects Ladli Foundation’s commitment to gender-responsive leadership, survivor-informed approaches, and community-led development, consistent with the United Nations localization agenda, CEDAW principles, and relevant Sustainable Development Goals,
