SHAGUN 2026
Ladli Foundation Trust organised Shagun Vivah Utsav 2026 to support 51 daughters from underserved families as they began a new chapter of their lives with dignity, security and collective blessings. The initiative reflected the Foundation’s commitment to ensuring that financial hardship does not prevent any daughter from experiencing an honourable, legally compliant and memorable wedding.
The celebration brought together families, community members, public representatives and senior administrative officers in a shared expression of compassion, equality and social responsibility. Traditional wedding rituals were solemnised in a respectful and celebratory environment, allowing every couple and their families to experience the occasion with happiness, confidence and honour.

Shagun Vivah Utsav was designed as more than a collective wedding celebration. Each daughter received support through a broader social-protection framework intended to strengthen her long-term security and independence.

₹1 lakh fixed deposit to promote financial security
Health insurance coverage to improve access to healthcare
A laptop to support continued education, digital learning and future opportunities
Legal documentation and age verification to ensure lawful marriages
Family counselling and structured support to promote informed decisions
These provisions were designed to ensure that every daughter entered married life with greater financial confidence, access to healthcare and the means to continue her educational and personal development.

Shagun Vivah Utsav reinforces Ladli Foundation Trust’s commitment to protecting girls from child marriage, exploitation and unsafe social practices. Through age verification, legal documentation, counselling and structured assistance, the initiative promotes lawful, informed and dignified marriages while encouraging girls to remain connected to education and make confident decisions about their futures.
The initiative conveyed a larger message of equality, social inclusion and dignified new beginnings. It demonstrated how communities, institutions, civil servants and public leaders can come together to support families, protect the rights of daughters and create meaningful social change.
