Through Voltour, we bridge the gap between global curiosity and local impact, empowering you to contribute directly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while restoring the dignity of India’s vulnerable communities.
What We Do
Voltour is built on three pillars of engagement, designed to take you from a spectator to a change maker
1. Grassroots Immersion : Step out into the community. Gain firsthand experience by partnering with local leaders on-the-ground. This isn't just about helping; it's about understanding a community's pulse and providing effective support.
2. The Local-Global Citizen : Change begins at home. Voltour encourages you to take the skills you learn with us and apply them to your immediate surroundings. We foster a sense of Global Citizenship in which you feel responsible for your neighbor, whether they are across the street or across the ocean.
3. Human-Centric Research : We don’t just look at statistics; we look at stories. You will conduct in-depth Action Research on sensitive issues that are often ignored, such as
Health : Investigating the impact of Tuberculosis on young girls.
Social Inclusion : Exploring the unique challenges faced by the transgender community.
Safety & Justice : Raising awareness for marginalised groups to ensure their voices reach policymakers.
