Covid Resilience

In the last two years, COVID-19 has disrupted our mental health and emotional stability.

Loneliness, stress, anxiety, etc. during these uncertain times have become common. For those who are already fighting mental health issues, it has only become more difficult. Ladli Foundation aims to lend a helping hand to everyone who needs it. To address the worsening mental state of the generation is the need of the hour.

We help build COVID resilience by focusing on three areas namely yoga, meditation and mental health counseling.

During the lockdown imposed worldwide, we have followed a sedentary lifestyle, could not go to gyms and stayed isolated for long. So an overall health check and improvement is needed. Yoga aims to invoke and activate an enhanced immune response system with the agenda of reducing the extent of infection and maintaining the physiological, biological and physical equilibrium of the human body.

Meditation is a practice aimed at training attention and awareness and achieving a mentally clear, emotionally calm, and stable state. Meditation may significantly reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain and enhance peace, perception, self-concept, and well-being.

Mental Health Counselling is a process in which mental, psychological, psychic, and neurosciences work with individuals or groups to promote optimum mental and emotional health. It also involves addressing the most pressing challenges humans face both at the individual level and the community level. It aims at addressing issues related to addiction, substance abuse, family issues, parenting issues, marital problems, stress management and self-esteem.

The COVID resistance and recovery project of Ladli Foundation USA focuses on using traditional remedies and treatments that can calm anger, heal trauma, strengthen immunity, restore health and bring back all the bereaved families in the right way, by inviting all the mental health professionals residing in the USA.

Mental health counseling isn't accessible to all; it is expensive and highly stigmatised. Ladli USA tends to narrow down the discrepancy between various income groups by providing these services because not everyone can hire a psychiatrist for their personal requirements. This is achieved by making an ensemble of indian scientific practices and USA's mental health professionals.

Ladli Foundation will conduct mental health webinars, yoga and meditation camps at both individual and community levels. For this purpose, we invite all the mental health professionals residing in the USA to translate people's lack of knowledge, frustration, post COVID anxieties due to sundry reasons to a flourishing mental ground in a sustainable manner through their expertise.

We will ensure that our counseling includes all the requirements such as attending to the person, empathy, confidentially, proper communication, assessing risk and using simple language. We find that a high level of mental resilience is essential for healthcare professionals to combat COVID-19 infections and protect their mental health effectively.

We aim to help strengthen and create a safer environment for gender-based violence survivors, create a solid and resilient Post-COVID society and create a path for sustainable living through cultural and traditional practices.
